On April 19, 2024, Henry Choc received devastating news: his younger brother, Eldin, 28, had disappeared in San Andrés Itzapa, a small Kaqchikel Maya village in central Guatemala. His search began immediately, and would come with the revelation that, as a matter of fact, he knew little about the brother whom he had always tried to protect.
