Radio Ambulante

Radio Ambulante is a Spanish-language podcast telling uniquely Latin American stories. We have been at the forefront of Latin American podcasting scene since our launch in 2012. Since then, we’ve produced over 60 episodes from more than twenty countries — in-depth, moving, sound-rich stories about politics and sports, about love and sexual identity, about human rights and family ties. Our work has been celebrated across the US and Latin America, and was honored with a García Márquez Prize for Innovation in Journalism in 2014.

Mixer/Sound Designer

Radio Ambulante is looking for a New York-based radio producer who knows how to mix a story and has experience in sound design. The ideal candidate is creative, motivated, bilingual in Spanish and English, an avid consumer of narrative podcasts who understands how music can enhance a story. If you don’t speak Spanish that’s fine, as long as you can understand it well enough to follow a script.

We use Hindenburg, but if you know ProTools or any similar program, we can work with you. We’re looking to fill this position quickly.

If you are this person, or know this person, please send an email telling us about yourself and your experience, along with links to your work to Fe Martínez ([email protected]).
