Radio Ambulante in the Spanish Language Classroom

Radio Ambulante in the Spanish Language Classroom

Share:

Spanish language instructors all over the United States and Latin America are using Radio Ambulante in their classroom. They are introducing their students to compelling, real stories told in authentic, real-world Spanish. Students are learning new vocabulary and engaging in meaningful discussions about Latin American and Latino history, culture and politics.

At Radio Ambulante, we welcome and encourage the use of our stories in the Spanish-language classroom. This year we would like to begin a new initiative: to host a series of on-line informal get togethers for teachers to talk about their experiences using RA in the classroom. Our goal is to create a supportive, online community where teachers can come together to learn from each other and share ideas, strategies, and questions about using our stories as teaching materials. We also want to learn from you too: we want to hear from you about what we can do to support your work with your students.

If you are interested in participating in one of these get togethers please fill out the form below by February 28.  Please be sure to indicate the times when you are available to chat online for about 45 minutes.

We will begin scheduling get togethers in March!
