Don Chon is the memory keeper of Aranzazú del Cobre, an abandoned town in northern Mexico that was once a significant mining hub. The town’s population began to decline in the 1960s and now, almost no one lives there. But once a year, former residents return to remember, and celebrate, a bygone era.
