Bukele: The Man From Los sueños
How did a millennial who was involved in his family’s businesses become a central figure in the political history of El Salvador?
“Someone like Bukele” is episode 1 of “Bukele: el señor de Los sueños”, the first production of our new series podcast, Central. We delve into Nayib Bukele’s early years, his family clan, and the role of his father. We explore his education in a bilingual school and his leap into municipal politics. We review his childhood and adolescence with one of his elementary school teachers and a former schoolmate. Then we travel to Nuevo Cuscatlán, a town on the outskirts of San Salvador that became Bukele’s first laboratory. The voices of former collaborators help us understand the initial strategies he used to transform the democracy of the smallest country in Central America into an experiment that evolves in real time.
You can listen to the six episodes series on Central, available wherever you get your podcasts.
