The Mayor


Nélida Silva left her hometown of Llamellín, high in the Andes, when she was only eleven years old. When she returned three decades later, she didn’t like what she saw, and embarked on a quixotic run for mayor. What happens when an outsider tries to make it in provincial politics? And why is Nélida committed to trying to change the place she left as a young girl?
