They played it safe but it wasn’t.
Andrea Echeverri and Jorge Toro bought an apartment and remodelled it to their specifications. Their plan was perfect: in three years they’d recover their investment, sell it and go live outside the city with their dogs. And in fact, they did leave, right on schedule, but for reasons that were quite different from the ones they’d foreseen.
