The Cuban Suitcase

A story of comings and goings.

Writer Karla Suarez has been living outside her country, Cuba, for 25 years, but visits every chance she gets. But more than just holidays, these trips home require her to prepare for whatever the island’s problems might be at any given moment, and pack accordingly. We accompany Karla as she prepares for another trip, and packs the always complicated Cuban suitcase.
