In the 1990s, Chile confronts a slew of energy shortages. With the economic development of the country at stake, the State resolves to build several hydroelectric plants. The largest would be located in Alto Bío Bío, a natural paradise in the Andean mountains. For centuries, this land has been inhabited by the Mapuche, the largest indigenous group in Chile. Faced with the threat of his people being stripped of what belongs to them, Víctor Ancalaf, a community leader, decides to do something… No matter the cost.
