How to reduce the harm of fentanyl in Mexico?

While Mexico worries about a possible epidemic of illicit fentanyl use, an opioid that is 50 times more potent than heroin and has already caused thousands of deaths, on the northern border,  organizations like Verter and PrevenCasa are emplying harm reduction to help drug users. They give them clean syringes, naloxone to prevent overdoses, and offer safe spaces to use. But harm reduction is much more than this. We traveled to Mexicali and Tijuana to find out what this method means for those at greatest risk.
